Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers have a great base of a brand but their logo's composition is awkward. The scale of the type and stars seem forced and don't read well on helmets. I tried to create something that kept the essence of the brand but modernized it and fixed some of the problems.

Los Angeles Chargers

I've always felt that Chargers needed something besides "electricity" as their main visual identifier. Otherwise, it almost feels as powerful as the LA "phone chargers". The idea of a "lightning horse" sounded exciting to me, so I decided to revamp it.

Washington Generals

With the re-naming of the Washington Redskins, I thought it might be appropriate to name the team after the person the city was named after. It felt appropriate and would make for some unique marks.

New Jersey Devils

The NJ Devils by far have the best brand out of any NJ professional sports team, but I felt the logo had some awkward and questionable shapes. I recreated the logo so that it would communicate much more of the proper personality of the brand.

New York Giants

The one reason why I never got into the NY Giants was the odd, outdated logo. With a name like "giants", there are so many opportunities to communicate something truly powerful, yet the lowercase letters just seemed lackluster.

New York Jets

I always felt it was quite weird that the logo for team that represented the mecca of design was outdated. I felt the NY Jets needed a logo that felt more modern and captured the speed and power of the name.

BYU Cougars

As my alma mater, I've never resonated with any of the past logos of BYU. I wanted to create something a little more aggressive and appropriate for the mascot.

Cleveland Browns

I've always felt the Cleveland Browns are in desperate need of a logo update. The simple brown helmet is not indicative of the great personality and brand of the team.

Minnesota Vikings

One of my first sports branding projects, I combined my love of native Viking culture and sports logos.
